Volunteer and Job Training Course
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Camps Canada.
In 2023, we had more than 50 volunteers complete our prep course and join us for a one-week placement at camp.
If you want to volunteer, you have to complete our mandatory Volunteer and Job Training Course.
Think of it as Job Prep 101. More than just preparing you for your volunteer experience with Camps Canada, we’ll prepare you for paid employment anywhere.
Placement Guaranteed!
If you’re hoping to use these volunteer hours as your high school community service hours, be sure to get them PRE-APPROVED (in writing) by your school principal before you complete the training course.
A one-week volunteer placement at Camps Canada is guaranteed for all who complete the 12-hour accreditation course. You are only guaranteed one week of placement. However, after this probation week, you may be asked to join us for additional weeks based on your performance and the total number of volunteers.
Volunteers (and their parents) get to choose the date (week) and camp location where they want to volunteer. That information will be collected on the training weekend.
